Toya was born on August 3, 1984, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the United States. She was born into an African-American family. But don’t get her mixed up with the Afro-British Toya Washington, who has the same name but looks nothing like her.
Washington has managed to keep all of her personal information private. As a result, there hasn’t been much coverage in the media. She also studied women’s studies and journalism at the same university where Tayo did. Toya has always wanted to be a journalist and has been fascinated by it since she was a child.
She has not disclosed her educational background.
